Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is a special item upgrader kit that can make certain Pokemon evolve. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc and is sometimes offered as a reward during Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be used on armors, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to boost their level. The upgrade costs Flightstones and crests, dependent on the item type.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and other tools for gathering in order to provide attributes bonuses or other effects while using the equipment. Upgrade components can only be used on equipment that has an upgrade slot. The majority of upgrade components require that the item being upgraded is above a certain level. Some upgrade items also have special effects when they are added to an equipment piece. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, bought by Karma merchants or exchanged with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be salvaged from equipment and redeemed as rewards.
There are a variety of upgrade components available, each providing an individual bonus. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions are able to be used on any type of equipment. They provide fewer bonuses than other kinds of upgrade components. Infusions can be utilized on legendary and non-amulet items, while enhancements are able to be used on back equipment that has been ascended. Slotting in an upgrade component will cause the destruction of the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, which can only be used in gathering tools, and enchantments. Both can be removed and replaced.
Insignias and enchantments will show their name in the hover display of the item, while prefix and suffix upgrades will add their names to the end of the name of the equipment (e.g. an Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrades that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, such as ligatures, ornaments, fractions, swashes, registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to view and insert these special characters as well as normal glyphs, such as em dashes, en dashes registered trademark symbols and glyphs that do not appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph provides an initial boost in stats for the character. The glyph can also have up to four secondary stats which will alter the radius of your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a %-increase that is multiplied after other bonuses are applied except for Speed Glyphs which directly increase the speed of the hero.
Selecting the Glyphs and then clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will open a window that shows the Glyphs that are available to you. You can only apply the correct Glyph to the item upgrades you are looking for. Every weapon or jewelry piece has a different collection of Glyphs.
Glyphs can be leveled up by completing Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the dungeon, the higher the amount of Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph reaches level 15, it can be upgraded at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrades to a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
Once a glyph has been elevated to the desired level, you can activate it by selecting it, then pressing the "enchant" button. The Glyph that is created will grant its stated benefit, and boost other nodes within its range on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should go in areas that will benefit your build the most. This is why you should prioritize Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs could also provide double bonus in the event that certain conditions are met.
Click the cycle widget to change the perspective of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views shows the Glyphs in a different font. You can reduce the number of glyphs by choosing an option below "Entire Font". For instance, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols restricts the choices to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a method in which you create a brand new account to give yourself more chances to access the character or weapon you are interested in. It is done to to level up faster, or to obtain more valuable loot like the purchase of a new weapon for your character. Many players will reroll until they have the characters they like regardless of their strength. It could be that they like the design or the personality of the character.
It is important to make a clean change when you restart. You should test locally whether the patch is approved by pre-commit and run a Core dev check. The patch should be uploaded with a clear difference to an issue (see What is an interdiff?) ).
Rerolls can take days or weeks to complete, depending on the luck of the draw. During this time, you should avoid any optional enemy camps to cut down on time. It is also recommended to avoid repeating quests which can be completed later on in the game. This can save time and energy.
When you reroll, it is crucial to be aware of the upgrade system. There are many ways to improve your character's appearance and strength. This could include upgrading your weapons or characters, rerolling them and purchasing upgrades. In addition, it's crucial to be aware of the limitations of the upgrade system.
Rerolling is not a necessary aspect of the game, but it can be helpful to increase your chances of getting a specific character or weapon. You can use it to determine which character is the Best item upgrader or to play around with different playstyles and builds.
Sets
A set is an object collection having 2 common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen or the members of a group). Sets are used for operations such as union, intersection and differences.
Upgrades make a set item more effective than it was prior to. This means that the weapon and armor will have a greater defense value and lower requirement for strength.
Upgrading can be an excellent method of bringing popular single-set items up to the same level as their higher-tier set counterparts. Upgrades like Guillaume's Face Helm to an Elite Spired helmet will increase the defense from 217 to 321 and decrease the strength and requirements for level to an achievable range.
It is important to keep in mind that not all items in a set are suitable for upgrading. Some sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's shield and Naj's puzzler staff, are already exceptional in their own right and don't require any upgrades. Certain items, like Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are used frequently may require an upgrade to increase their performance. It may be worth it to upgrade these items.
