Interacting with item upgraders NPCs allows players to upgrade equippable equipment. Each upgrade boosts one stat, while some upgrades unlock additional stats.

Recycled items

This allows players to add more blueprints to the inventory that the item upgrader creates, allowing for larger Rerolls. Preparing multiple cabinets and copies can delay production.

Set Bonus

A set bonus is a second stat boost for a set of mods. The set bonus gains strength dependent on the number of set mods available, excluding duplicates. (For instance, if the Warframe includes both the melee and primary Mods with the Vigilante set's "Enhance critical hits" bonus it can only be counted for one). A set bonus can't be improved by normal fusion.

Certain sets provide multiple choices. The first offers the basic bonus, and the rest improve depending on the number of items you wear above the base amount. For example, the Fables of the Feywild offers the set bonus at two equipped items and a higher bonus if you wear more than that amount.

The upgrader, unlike enchantments will not apply the same effect repeatedly. The item that is used to apply the upgrade will be consumed forever.
